Mentoring & Tutoring Matters

Children and teens who have formal or informal mentoring relationships are more apt to perform well in school, graduate, and have success in life. Yet one in three young people will grow up without this critical asset. JWB supports mentoring and tutoring programs so that all children have the opportunity to have a caring adult in their lives.

Power Of A Caring Adult

For the past two years, over half of JWB’s employees have taken part in Lunch Pals, a mentoring program where businesses, civic groups, and individuals meet with students from a nearby school during their lunch time. The program was created by Raymond James Financial, in partnership with Pinellas County Schools.
