Marcia Marcionette, Lead Researcher

/system/medias/51/post/Marcionette.JPGMarcia Marcionette coordinates all JWB research and reporting efforts.  This includes continual monitoring of the performance of the agency program portfolio to promote high quality, effective services provided to children and their families. Other duties include helping programs to ensure that interventions are research-based, utilize valid and reliable measurement instruments and have established outcomes that are aligned with the stated methodological goals and objectives.

Her areas of specialization include: program evaluation, social theory (Social Learning Theory), methodology, juvenile delinquency and substance abuse.  Marcia's research experience includes evaluation of computer assisted education for incarcerated juvenile offenders; site coordinator for nationwide evaluation of a correctional options program; and coordinator for a state-wide inventory of county-level intermediate sanctions programming.

Marcia has been with JWB since 2007.  She has a B.S. in Criminology from the University of Tampa, and an M.A. in Criminology from the University of South Florida.
