Patricia K. Gehant, Director of Information Technology

Patricia K. Gehant has been with JWB since 1984 - first as a Contract Manager, Community Planner and Researcher – then as Director of Information Technology since 1998. A leader in the implementation of solutions that align business needs with technology innovation, she has overseen several transitions to new technologies along with training JWB staff to use these new tools to their greatest potential.

Pat lead the move of the JWB infrastructure to new building in 2008 in cooperation with the facilities group; designed and coordinated the development of the SAMIS Management Group which leverages public funds in support of the five-county client data collection system and provides ongoing leadership and management of the SAMIS Management Collaborative. She provides ongoing technical leadership in the implementation of Business Intelligence initiatives and expansion of communication strategies with community partners through SharePoint.

Pat is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor of arts degree from the College of Social and Behavioral Science and a master’s degree from the College of Education.
